Editorial Board Policies of IJPPP

The Editorial Board of IJPPP consists of members from the Founding Editorial Board, Executive Editorial Board and Associate
Editorial Board.

1.
Founding Editorial Board: The founding editorial board consists of a limited number of distinguished professors in  physiology,
pathophysiology and/or pharmacology with international reputation. All members are appointed by invitation only from the Chief and/or
Associate Chief Editors. Membership will remain in effect until terminated by either the member or the journal.

Members in this category may be requested to review manuscripts or invited to write a review article in the areas of their expertise.
They are not required, but are always welcome to submit their research articles for publication in IJPPP.

2.
Senior Editorial Board: The executive editorial board consists of 20 well-established physicians and scientists,  with an excellent
publication record. The majority of them will be invited by Chief and/or Associate Chief Editors or recommended by members of the
founding editorial board. Membership will remain in effect until terminated by either the member or the journal.

Members in this category will be required to review manuscripts in their field of expertise, and are expected to submit or solicit at
least  one manuscript each year during their tenure.

3.
Associate Editorial Board: The number of associate editors is not limited at this time, but generally no more than  30. They may be
invited by members of the founding or executive editorial board or the Chief and/or Associate Chief Editors. Self-recommendation is
welcome and is in fact encouraged. Membership will remain in effect until terminated by either the member or the journal.

Members in this category will be required to submit or recruit at least one manuscript each year, and are expected to review
manuscripts if requested.  They may be promoted to the executive editorial board upon fulfillment of their responsibilities as an
associate editor for  four consecutive years.
